A two-hour webinar for the judiciary led by legal experts, including the Observatory founder and members (Maria Jose Azar-Baud, Ander Maglica, Eduardo Silva de Freitas and Amy Adams), introducing practical resources for representative action proceedings under Directive 2020/1828.

The webinar will introduce the new Practical Guide for Judges and its 80 accompanying expert fiches on procedural aspects of representative actions. Judges will be invited to discuss efficient case management, consumer participation, and evidentiary challenges in collective redress proceedings. The session will also present EC-REACT, the Commission’s platform enabling judicial collaboration on representative actions throughout the EU.
